“ The food is not the traditional Mexican fare but it keeps the essence of it with a Canadian spin, chilaquiles are a lot like nachos and huevos rancheros have a slaw on the side rather than the typical lettuce on top but it all works. You can park for free a street or two away and their patio looms nice but it was too hot when we went so stayed inside where they treated us promptly and friendly. ”

“ Very lovely place with super helpful and friendly team members, a lot care put into the food and lots of vegan options. Something was up with my coffee and it was promptly replaced with a delicious one. The Vegan Heaven sandwich is generously filled, satisfying, creamy and crunchy. My friend loved her salad bowl. “ My friends suggested this gem! I ordered the cool hand salad and a coffee. The coffee was decent, considering it's not a cafe--totally understandable. But let's talk about the SALAD--it was pure heaven, generous portion and oh-boy was it delicious! The hot sauce was DELICIOUS, I had to bring one home! Everything made in house is what I love most about this place! Also, you can tell the level of care & love the owner & staff put into the food and the restaurant! Definitely be back to try everything on the menu! ”

“ Lucia, with her cheerful personality and her great staff has been managing this restaurant for a good 17 years! Cozy and warm recently fresh painted interior and exterior façade looks great! The menu caters to a wide selection of tastes with healthy careful selected ingredients: very yummy sandwiches with soup or salads, fish tacos, healthy bowl plates, great coffee and treats; conveniently located in the Junction village just East of Keele St., Outdoor Summer patio is available and parking can be found around the side streets and Green P along Dundas St. All definitely done with a Cool Hand! “ Great place for brunch! The food was so delicious and filling. The slaw had a great smoky flavour, and so many dishes could be made vegan and vegetarian! They also could adapt everything on the menu to be gluten free, which was very helpful. I definitely recommend the patio in the summer, and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
